Legendary 'Bonnie and Clyde' Costume Designer Dies at 83

Veteran costume designer Theadora Van Runkle has died at 83. Most broadly known on her behalf Oscar-nominated concentrate on 'Bonnie and Clyde,' Van Runkle got her start just like a sketch artist for award-winning designer Dorothy Jeakins ('The Appear of Music, 'The Ten Commandments'), and would later be recommended for your 'Bonnie and Clyde' job by Jeakins herself. Her costumes for Faye Dunaway and Warren Beaty inside the film increased being legendary, cementing Van Runkle one of the premiere designers in the market. She'd later receive Oscar nominations for 'The Godfather Part II' and 'Peggy Sue Got Married.' In line with the Costume Designers Guild, Van Runkle died the 2009 Friday of carcinoma of the lung. She's managed to get by her boy Max, her daughter Felicity and her grand boy Teo.
